During the construction of the park upgrade the Council has also secured additional funding to enable a skate “pump track” to be constructed at the Southern end of the park and for concrete repairs to be made to the remainder of the outer concrete ring loop.

 

This park upgrade was designed and specified by Rich Landscapes.

One portion of the park was already open to the public prior to the summer holidays, which generated quite a bit of excitement in the Masterton skating community.

 

With the completion date set in the following weeks and its unique design, Masterton skate park will be a real attraction for many years to come and one of the top skate parks in the country.
