This long-awaited project commenced in October 2013 and was completed in April 2014.

The 2000m2 park extension included a new deep bowl, pool zone section and cradle structure, completed by pre-casting onsite and a plaza course extension, including paving, new landscaping, and car park extensions.

The project team comprised Hunter Civil specialists and Skate Park designers Convic.

 

Brett and his team from Convic completed the rigorous concrete work six days a week for five months to deliver an outstanding result for Christchurch. This has been a great collaboration of companies with similar values committed to providing great results. The park was completed approximately eight weeks early and has been a much-anticipated upgrade.
